Ukrainian Fairy Tales
Colorful stories that are remembered by more than one generation.
Classic stories in their original sound
Here are collected the most famous Ukrainian folk tales - about Kolobok, Kotygoroshko, Rukavychka, Kurochka Ryaba, Ivasyk-Telesyk, Kyrylo Kozhumyak and other favorite heroes. The texts are presented in a canonical form - as they were told by grandmothers by the stove and as they were imprinted in the memory of the people.
The language of fairy tales is enriched with specific Ukrainian words - doves, loud, solemn, quiet. These are not modern tales - this is a real folk language, melodious and warm, like homemade porridge with sour cream.
Each fairy tale is illustrated. Suitable for children of all ages, from young listeners to independent readers. A separate section for family reading aloud.
