In a sunny garden, on the softest pink petal of the tallest rose, lived a tiny fairy named Petal. Her wings shimmered like morning dew, and her job was to help the garden grow.
But Petal was very small, and sometimes she felt that her work did not matter at all. “What difference can one little fairy make?” she sighed.
One dry summer, no rain fell for many days. The flowers began to droop, and the little bugs grew thirsty. The garden looked tired and sad.
Petal decided to help, even if she was small. All morning she carried single drops of dew, one by one, from leaf to leaf — a sip for the thirsty ladybird, a drop for the wilting violet, a splash for the drooping daisy.
It was slow work for such tiny wings. But other creatures saw her trying. The bees began to help, then the beetles, then the butterflies, each carrying a little water in their own small way.
Together, drop by drop, they cared for the whole garden. By evening, the flowers lifted their heads again, and the garden sparkled with life.
Petal understood at last that no helper is ever too small. When one gentle heart begins, others follow — and together, even the tiniest friends can work wonders.
Good night, little one. Dream of shimmering gardens, and know that even you, so small, can make the world bloom.
