He who understands himself can cope with any situation.
Adolescence is an emotional rollercoaster: anxiety before a test, a flash of anger, a resentment that makes «everything go away.» Adults say «don’t be nervous,» «don’t get angry,» but it doesn’t help, because no one has explained HOW to do it.
«"Emotional Compass" is a course in which a teenager will learn to notice, name, and calmly experience their emotions — anxiety, anger, sadness — and understand the emotions of others. This is a skill that saves in friendship, in school, and in adult life.
No boring lectures. No grades. Just clear explanations, interactive tests, games, relaxation exercises, and your own emotional diary.

Real project
The child completes the course with their own map of emotions.
«"Emotions don't disappear - we learn to read them and manage our reactions. In 4 weeks, a child will acquire the language to understand themselves and others - and this will stay with them forever."»
— Final of the course «Emotional Compass»
🎮 Not boring lectures — but interactive
A child doesn't just read - they lives: passes tests, plays, practices how to react in simulated situations. Here's what awaits her:
- 🎯 "How stressed are you" test« — 4 types, no correct answers
- 🔥 Anger Simulator — what do you do when everything is boiling inside
- 💧 Support Simulator — a friend is sad, what will you say?
- 🎮 Sorting games — emotion or action, healthy or unhealthy friendship
- 🌊 Relaxation exercises — breathing 4-7-8 and grounding 5-4-3-2-1
- 📝 Emotion journal + weekly challenges
Take a look inside the course
A few real snippets so you can see the language and tone the course uses with a teenager:
«Emotions are signals. Like lights on a dashboard: one says «low fuel», the other says «all is well». Emotions don’t tell you what to do – they tell you what’s important to you.»
Week 1 · What are emotions?
«"You call an emotion a word, and its power immediately decreases. You name it, and you already see it from the side, and it doesn't control you.".
Week 1 · Label and name
A tool that a child will take into adulthood is the «I-message»: «I feel [emotion] when [situation] because [reason]. I would like [suggestion].» This way, you can be heard instead of being silent or shouting.
Week 3 · Communication
And these are just three paragraphs. Inside are 16 lessons with tests, sorting games, dilemma simulators, and your own project.
What will change in 4 weeks?
This won't "become calm in a week." These are specific changes that parents notice already during the course:
- Instead of "I'm feeling bad," he says exactly what he feels.
- Instead of panicking, he knows how to calm down with breathing and grounding.
- Instead of being silent or shouting in a conflict, he speaks with «I-messages» and knows how to listen.
- Instead of keeping anger inside, pause and express it safely.
- Instead of getting lost in other people's desires, he calmly sets his own boundaries.

Questions parents ask
If you have any questions, write to hello.kazkaland@gmail.com, we will answer.
What if the child is shy and withdrawn?
This course is for those. All work is independent, at your own pace, without public speaking or evaluation. Only the child can see the personal journal of emotions.
How much time is needed per week?
Four short lessons per week, 20–30 minutes each. That is 40–60 minutes per week — the same as one episode of a TV series. The pace is relaxed: if a week falls short, it's okay.
Do I need to be with the child?
No. The course is designed for independent study. Progress is automatically saved in the browser. The child can return to the lesson at any time and continue where they left off.
What will the child get in the end?
Your own "emotion map" - a personal compass (your emotions, where they are in your body, calming techniques, boundaries) that you can return to throughout your life.
