Prickly Cactus Paper Craft Template
Print one A4 page, cut, fold and glue a little prickly cactus toy.
How to print and build the paper craft
- Download the PDF and print it on A4 paper at 100% scale (do not choose “fit to page”). Thicker paper, 160-200 g/m2, works best, but regular office paper is fine.
- Cut out the parts along the solid lines. Little children need an adult to help with scissors.
- Fold along the dotted lines. Put glue stick on the gray tabs and glue the head cube together.
- Glue the smaller body cube in the same way and attach the head on top.
- Glue the small details (ears, paws, tail, wheels) as shown on the sheet. Your toy is ready to stand on the table.
Every sheet also has a step-by-step picture and a preview of the finished toy. You need: a color printer, A4 paper, scissors and a glue stick.
The prickly cactus paper craft is part of our nature paper crafts collection. Plants, mushrooms and weather symbols make a tiny paper landscape. Build a few and use them for a science corner, a seasonal table or a pretend forest. Download the PDF and print it on A4 at 100% scale.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to make a paper craft?
A color printer, A4 paper, scissors and a glue stick. Thicker paper makes a sturdier toy, but regular paper works too.
How long does it take?
Most crafts take 20 to 30 minutes with an adult helping a child of 5 to 8 years.
Can we color it ourselves?
The templates are already printed in color, but you can also print on plain paper and decorate with markers. For coloring only, see our coloring pages.
